LEXINGTON, S.C. (WIS) - Sunset Boulevard in Lexington was closed at Coventry Drive after an SUV and motorcycle crashed into each other on New Year's Eve around 9 p.m.

According to the Lexington Police Department, the motorcyclist was transported from the scene by EMS after the crash. It wasn't immediately clear the status of the driver involved.

Police believe speeding and failure to yield the right of way are what caused the crash. It's unclear which vehicle caused the crash.
