Barr, the Trump-loving comedian who got thrown off her top-rated TV show over overt racism, dropped the rap video in honor of the incoming president and also launched a new rap alter-ego - complete with sunglasses, gold bling and blonde cornrows.

The song, which begins, "We won, you mad. It's done, too bad. Boo-hoo, so sad," is also peppered with references to a homophobic slur, and predictably elicited its fair share of commentary.

"The prophets foretold that when Roseanne Barr appeared to a rap video, the apocalypse was near," former GOP strategist turned Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson posted on Bluesky.

"Want to see one of the worst things ever?" progressive activist Jordan Uhl wrote on his Bluesky account. "Here's Roseanne Barr rapping," he told followers before dropping a YouTube link to the music video, which has already generated 625,000 views over the day and thousands of comments.

One of those viewers, photographer Stoo Metz, posted on Bluesky that he "just watched the new Roseanne Barr + Canadian rapper Tom MacDonald Pro Trump rap song so you don't have to. It really is as awful as you're imagining in your head."

"Nothing captures 2025's vibe like 72-year-old Roseanne Barr in fake dreadlocks and long gold chains rapping about how she's not racist in a song called 'Daddy's Home' celebrating Donald Trump's inauguration,' Terry Bouton, a historian and professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, told his followers on Bluesky.

Bluesky user Sophia Florence had her own take on Bluesky: "Don't click this link, please, but I am kink shaming," she wrote. "Roseanne Barr shaking her weird booty in front of a camera makes me wish I was blind, and the song actually makes me wish I was deaf. I would rather never watch a movie again then ever hear this again."
