Gabriel Jesus sends bold message to Liverpool after Arsenal's Brentford victory

Gabriel Jesus has rediscovered his scoring touch and is making it clear he has Arsenal's title rivals in his sights.

The Brazilian striker, once struggling in front of goal, has now netted six times in his last four games, including a crucial strike in Arsenal's 3-1 win over Brentford on New Year's Day.

His remarkable turnaround comes after managing just one goal in 33 matches.

With Arsenal now trailing league leaders Liverpool by six points, Jesus has vowed to keep up his red-hot form and bring the Premier League trophy back to the Emirates for the first time in two decades.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Jesus expressed his determination to help Arsenal maintain their momentum. "I just want to keep winning, scoring, and helping the team," he said. Despite his confidence, Jesus knows the road ahead is challenging.

"It's a long way. We need to focus on ourselves and keep doing our job. Hopefully, the teams at the top will drop points, but we have to take care of our own performances."

Jesus's experience as a four-time Premier League champion with Manchester City has given him the belief that Arsenal can go the distance.

"I've been there before, and I see this team has what it takes. We're experienced now, with amazing players. I'm confident we can fight for the title."

Manager Mikel Arteta was full of praise for Jesus and fellow Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli, who also ended his goal drought recently.

"It's great timing for us," Arteta said. "Our forwards are in top form, and we need that consistency. Goals come from energy and belief, and they're both full of it right now."

As Arsenal prepare for their next clash against Brighton, Jesus and his teammates know every point matters in the title race.
