True to his song, this country music star can't wait to get on the road again.

That's right. Despite a canceled appearance last year, Willie Nelson is scheduled to take the stage in Virginia Beach this summer.

Willie Nelson & Family will headline a July 29 concert at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater as part of the Outlaw Music Festival's 10th anniversary tour.

Nelson, 91, and his musicians will be joined by country band Turnpike Troubadours, singer-songwriter Willow Avalon and arguably the best American songwriter of all time, Nobel laureate Bob Dylan.

When the music festival tour made a stop in Virginia Beach last year, Nelson did not perform. He'd felt ill for several days, and the day of the local show, it was announced the nonagenarian wouldn't be playing that night.

Fans, keep those fingers crossed; he's supposed to be feeling better this year.
