Hallowell
Goodrich-Caldwell American Legion Post 6 has planned Veterans Day events on Monday, Nov. 11.
Veterans and their families can gather at 9 a.m. at the 114 Second St. post, where breakfast will be served by Boy Scout Troop 647 Alumni. All veterans are invited.
A Veterans Day raffle drawing will be held at 10:30 a.m. Attendees and members of the community can assemble at the Veterans Memorial in Legion Park at the Hallowell cemetery for the 11 a.m. ceremony.

Skowhegan
Skowhegan-Madison Elks Lodge Chili and Dynamite Cook Off for our veterans is set for 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at the lodge at 21 Silver St.
For $5 per cup attendees can sample and vote for their favorites. Lodge gift cards will go to the winner of each category.

Third annual Veterans Day Outreach event is set for noon-2 p.m. at Skowhegan-Madison Elks Lodge, 21 Silver St.

Veterans Administration personnel will be onsite to help answer questions related to benefits and healthcare. Numerous other Veterans organizations and local non-profits will also be on hand to discuss their services and programs.
There will be live music featuring Healing Through Every Beat and Matthew Schaeffer and free lunch for all veterans.

Waterville Veteran's Day Parade, 11 a.m. 21 College Ave. to Main Street with a short ceremony at Castonguay Square followed by a free lunch at the Winslow VFW for veterans and guests. Lineup begins at 10 a.m. for parking and line up.
