Now that Royal Rumble is in the rearview mirror, it's time to look ahead to the Elimination Chamber premium live event scheduled for Sat., Mar. 1, 2025, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. That means qualifying matches for both the men's and women's Elimination Chamber matches are getting underway.
They began on Monday Night Raw this week with one qualifier for each match.
First, Liv Morgan booked her ticket by defeating Iyo Sky via disqualification. This after her muscle, Raquel Rodriguez, attacked Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley backstage, leading to the champ interfering in the match. Her doing so directly led to a disqualification, giving Morgan the win.
Later, despite a huge hype job from Seth Rollins and a valiant effort in the match itself, Sami Zayn came up short against CM Punk, falling to the GTS after a very good TV match.
Punk joins John Cena, who announced his entry at the Royal Rumble post-show press conference, in the men's match. Rey Mysterio vs. Logan Paul has been announced as the next qualifier on Raw next week.
Morgan is the only woman to qualify for the women's match so far. Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria vs. Bayley has been announced as the next qualifier on Raw next week.
