DOWNE TOWNSHIP -- The New Jersey Forest Fire Service was working Friday to contain a wildfire in the area of Railroad Avenue.
As of Thursday night, the fire was about 100 acres, according to a Facebook post by the Forest Fire Service.
The wildfire was projected to be contained at about 140 acres, the Forest Fire Service said.

The Forest Fire Service said it has responded with fire engines, bulldozers and ground crews and is using backfire to burn fuel ahead of the main body of the fire to aid in containment.
Railroad Avenue is closed between Dividing Creek Road and Ackley Road.
An update on the fire was expected about 10:30 a.m. Friday.
