Five-star forward Caleb Wilson has cut his final list down to three schools and a commitment date of Thursday, Jan. 23.
Wilson, who ranks No. 8 overall on the 247Sports list for 2025, is down to Kentucky, Ohio State and North Carolina.
Here's what he said about Mark Pope and Hubert Davis:
Kentucky: "Mark Pope is a great guy on and off the court. He coaches with energy and they're having a great year this year. They're playing very good. Their system really fits a long '4' like me in the way that they play. And it's a blueblood so that's one of the best fan bases and basketball cultures in the country."
North Carolina: "Coach Davis is a great guy on and off the court also. North Carolina is a prestigious university. They have a great team and I feel like I can go to that team, step up and become the man at North Carolina. I definitely feel like it'd be a great opportunity. With Elliot Cadeau possibly returning, that'd be a great guard to play with."

The majority of folks seem to think Wilson will pick Kentucky, but not everyone is on board with that prediction.
Travis Branham of 247Sports believes Wilson is headed to Chapel Hill.
Ryan Lemond of KSR said on the air this week that Wilson already has an NIL deal in place in Lexington:
