WNC football top 2nd round NCHSAA playoff performers: Robbinsville's Bryce Adams rushes for 3 TDs in upset win

Here are Western North Carolina's top performers for Week 14 of the 2024 football season.

Ricky Tolbert, Asheville School: Tolbert ran for 108 yards on 17 carries and completed 8-of-16 passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns in a 26-25 overtime loss to Christ School.

Jackson Cancel, Christ School: Cancel rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns on 34 carries, leading the Greenies to a 13th-straight win over Asheville School, 26-25, in overtime.

Caden Ingle, Erwin: Ingle tallied five touchdowns in a 35-14 win over Smoky Mountain, completing 14 of 19 passes for 184 yards with two passing touchdowns and rushing for two more touchdowns.

Lawson Reynolds, Erwin: Reynolds caught five passes for 61 yards and two touchdowns.

Michael Petty, Erwin: Petty returned a kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter. He also had eight receptions for 117 yards.

Bryce Adams, Robbinsville: Adams rushed for three touchdowns in a 19-0 win over Bessemer City, totaling 97 yards on 10 rushes.

Jarek Jones, Smoky Mountain: Jones carried the ball 18 times for 32 yards and a touchdown and completed 8 of 15 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown in a 35-14 loss to Smoky Mountain.

Ayden Johnson, Smoky Mountain: Johnson rushed 25 times for 99 yards.
