Michelle Keegan, who is pregnant, and husband Mark Wright were targeted by masked assailants breaking into their mansion, forcing the couple to lock themselves in their bedroom. On Tuesday February 18, four suspects broke into the couple's home, police have confirmed.

Hearing their porch window smash, which set off their alarm system, the couple stayed in their bedroom before Mark took action. Allegedly, after nearly a minute of being in the home, the suspects fled after Mark began shouting.

The couple were met with police eight minutes after the break in, after their security system alerted authorities. Reportedly, nothing was stolen during the raid.

An Essex Police spokesperson stated yesterday its investigation into the burglary was continuing. He explained: "It was reported four suspects had forced entry to an address, carrying out a search of the property before fleeing. Within eight minutes, our officers were on the scene. We are continuing to support and safeguard the victims and are conducting high-visibility patrols in the area.

"We are exploring a number of lines of inquiry including but not limited to forensic opportunities, CCTV and witness statements. Anyone with information should contact us as soon as possible."
