Could Bills QB Finally Take Home MVP?

The Buffalo Bills secured a statement win over the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, earning a 30-21 victory at Highmark Stadium.

The game was sealed by quarterback Josh Allen's electrifying 26-yard touchdown run on a pivotal fourth-and-2 play late in the fourth quarter.

Buffalo entered the matchup shorthanded, missing key players, including wide receiver Keon Coleman, tight end Dalton Kincaid, and cornerback Kaiir Elam.

Despite these absences, the Bills dominated the reigning champions behind Allen's stellar performance, showcasing their potential as legitimate title contenders.

Allen finished the game with 262 passing yards, 55 rushing yards, one passing touchdown, and one rushing touchdown. Although he threw an interception late in the first half, Allen rebounded to orchestrate two critical scoring drives in the fourth quarter.

His game-clinching touchdown run displayed his trademark power and athleticism, breaking multiple tackles to put the game out of reach with just over two minutes remaining.

The win catapulted Allen to the forefront of the MVP conversation. Having been a finalist in 2020, 2022, and 2023, this could be the year he finally takes home the honor.

Allen's performance extended one impressive stat in particular, marking his 15th career game with at least 250 passing yards and 50 rushing yards, the most in NFL history now two games ahead of Baltimore Ravens' Lamar Jackson.

With Buffalo sitting at 9-2, just behind 9-1 Kansas City in the AFC standings, Allen's MVP chances hinge on sustaining his elite play, low turnover rate, and pushing the Bills toward the conference's top spot.
