SOUTHPORT, N.C. (WECT) - In anticipation of hazardous travel conditions, Dosher Memorial Hospital has made changes to its schedule.
In an announcement, the hospital says the following schedules are bein followed:
"The following schedule changes apply to all Dosher primary care clinics, women's health (Dr. Maritza Manrique-Kiniry), outpatient surgery clinic (Dr. Paul Armstrong's office), and Walk-In Care at the Dosher Wellness Center," the hospital said.
"The following schedule changes apply to the Dosher Wound Care Center, Cardiac Rehab, Therapy Services including PT, OT, and speech, and outpatient radiology, including CT, MRI, X-Ray, and mammogram," the hospital said.
The hospital says patients with scheduled appointments will be contacted.
The hospital says these changes apply to Dosher's healthcare support services, including Medical Records and the Business Office (patient accounts).
The Emergency Department and Inpatient Care Services will stay open throughout the duration of the storm and its aftermath.
