A crash has blocked several westbound lanes of Interstate 235 Thursday afternoon in central Iowa.The crash happened between Exit 3 (8th Street/73rd Street) and Exit 2 (22nd Street). As of 4:40 p.m. the crash has caused about a 20-minute delay for drivers heading west, according to the Iowa DOT, with traffic backing up for miles. The entrance ramp from 73rd Street to I-235 westbound is also closed.Eastbound drivers in the area are also seeing a slight delay of about 5 minutes.
