The junior forward-midfielder scored her team's two goals in a 2-0 win over Adna, and provided strong defense to secure the win against Adna and a 1-0 win against Cle Elum-Roslyn.

"Against Cle Elum she was asked to be more defensive minded, especially in the second half, to help slow Cle Elum's two playmakers," coach Mike Russell said.

Callie Russell has 15 goals and 15 assists this season.

The Hurricanes, 16-3-1, play Friday in the semifinals of the Class 2B/1B State Tournament.
